Six questions, most of them one line. We take two at a time, a week apart, so each one gets the founder rather than a queue.

Where we reply. We do not add you to anything.

What is the group or business called?

Roughly how many people would use it?optional

A rough answer is fine. “About 40 flats” or “two shifts, maybe 15 people”.

What would your members use it for?

The questions you answer over and over, the groups you run, what you need to send out.

Who should be able to use it?

You can change this later, and it never applies backwards.

You approve each personSomebody who sends the code is told their request has gone to you, and reads nothing until you let them in. The usual answer for a building or a committee.Anyone with the codeAnswered straight away, and nobody without the code can find the group at all. Good when the code only goes to people who already belong.Anyone at allListed by name to anybody who messages PineDesk, no code needed. For a shop, a restaurant, or anything whose answers are public anyway.

What happens at the moment when they ask?optional

A group chat, a notice board, someone’s phone at nine at night — whatever it is now.

We use this to decide whether PineDesk fits, and to reply. Nothing else.
