How PineDesk handles your information

Who we are
PineDesk is a product of PineChat Inc., a Delaware corporation in the United States. Organisations use it to answer their members’ questions and track reported issues over WhatsApp. The organisation you are messaging decides how your information is used; PineChat Inc. stores and processes it on their behalf. That organisation is named in the first message we send you.
What we keep
Your mobile number, your name if you give it, the messages you send — including voice notes and photos — and any issues recorded from them.
Why
So the organisation can answer you and follow up on what you report.
Where
In the United States, on servers run by Supabase and Vercel, with encrypted backups held by Cloudflare. Under our agreement with the organisation we are bound to protect it to a standard substantially similar to the data protection law that applies to them, wherever it is held.
Who sees it
Administrators at the organisation. When an issue you reported is resolved, we tell everyone who reported it — but we describe the issue and outcome only, never your words or your name.
How long
For as long as you are a member and the organisation uses the service.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Message us, or email privacy@pinechat.ai. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message. We stop immediately, including updates on issues you already reported.
